The Gallorose Wildlife Center is about 10 minutes by car from the hotel on the Aurelia state road in the direction of Livorno. It is located on the south side of Cecina and is immersed in a 50,000 square meter park that houses many species of plants and animals, both native and exotic. The park, inaugurated in 2001, was born from the transformation of a family-run farm into a recreational space where everyone, children and adults, can get to know a wide range of animals and plants.
The wildlife center is easily accessible even for families with children and toddlers thanks to a 3.4 km path that is carefully designed and easy to walk with strollers.
Along the way, it is also possible to visit small museums where you can see the old tools from various crafts.
The park is open every day from 9:30 am to sunset from March to October.
