This amusement park in the green pinewood near our Hotel i Ginepri is renowned to be the greenest park of Italy. Suitable for children of all ages, it includes attractions for toddlers like merry-go-round, the little train and bouncy castles; for youngs and adults there are the Safari adventure and the rollercoasters, just to name a few. If you like adrenaline then don’t miss the Freestyle rollercoaster and the Shocking Tower. The Cavallino Matto hosts also live shows, restaurants and picnic areas. Acqua Village Cecina
This water park in Cecina has been nominated as one of the best water parks in Italy. It is a fun amusement park suitable for all ages with attractions of any kind. This wildlife park is located near Cecina: it’s about 5 hectares and hosts 150 different animal species. The park is the house of animals from all over the world like lemurs from Madagascar, porcupines from Africa, kangaroos from Australia, flying foxes from Malaysia and big parrots from the Rainforests. The Gallorose Park is also a farm with cows, horses, goats and ducks.
The Aquarium of Livorno
The Aquarium of Livorno is located next to the beautiful Terrazza Mascagni in Livorno, right in front of the sea. The aquarium counts 33 tanks, one impressive water tunnel, and one touch area with rays to discover the life under the sea. Meet Cuba and Ari the two green turtles that swim together with the blacktip sharks, the zebra sharks and two large Napoleon fishes; don’t miss the archaeological tank containing a reproduction of a Roman shipwreck that can be admired from all angles. On the first floor the aquarium hosts the exhibit dedicated to discover the world of insects, amphibians and reptiles.
