Elba Island
Elba is the largest island in the Tuscan Archipelago and can be reached by ferry from the port of Piombino in one hour. Together with Pianosa, Giglio, Giannutri, Capraia, and Montecristo it’s part of the Tuscan Archipelago National Park.
A popular tourist destination, Elba offers a landscape of coasts, coves, and bays with beaches and rocks framed by Mediterranean scrub. In addition to its natural beauty, the island also preserves many notable historical sites, such as the residence of Napoleon Bonaparte in Portoferraio.

Capraia Island
Capraia is the third largest island in the Tuscan Archipelago and can be reached by ferry from Piombino or Livorno, or by taking a day trip from the marina of Cala de Medici in Rosignano Solvay.
The island, once home to a penal colony that is now closed, is also part of the Tuscan Archipelago National Park. The sea is the main treasure of Capraia: crystal-clear waters, cliffs, coves, and bays are gems of this unspoiled paradise. For hikers and nature lovers, there are numerous trails to explore this untouched place.
