How to book your holidays with pets
We kindly ask you to inform us that you’re traveling with pets when you’re making your reservation at our hotel. This is going to help us provide you and your pets the best facilities.
We generally offer rooms on the ground floor or one of the bungalows in the garden or the rooms with a terrace, so that your pets have enough room to move. The daily price for your pet is 5 euros.
We are happy to welcome your pets, but please understand that we’re not a pet hotel: this means that your four-legged friends can be with you in the room and in the common areas of our hotel, but cannot access the restaurant and the hotel’s beach; we also don’t have dedicated services and facilities for pets.
Dogs on the beach in Marina di Castagneto Carducci: what you need to know
Within the Municipality of Castagneto Carducci, where we are located, there are specific rules for dogs on the beach. Dogs are allowed on the beach, but only in the so-called “dog beaches”.
The nearest dog beach is in Il Seggio in Marina di Castagneto Carducci, about 2 km far from our hotel, a five minutes’ drive. Our staff is going to provide you all the information when you arrive. Unfortunately, you cannot walk with your pet on the seaside to reach the dog beach, because you’ may be fined.
Four four-legged friends at our hotel: a few rules to follow
As said before, at Hotel i Ginepri your pets are very welcome, but we’re sure you understand that not all our guests would be “pet-friendly”. Therefore, we decided that pets are not allowed in our restaurant, because other guests can be bothered.
In addition, some young guests can be scared, so we’re really looking for providing a relaxing atmosphere for all our guests, and we are sure you know what to do.
Our Snack Bar Giardino, immersed in the large hotel’s garden is open for you and your pets so that you can have a glass of wine and your pet can enjoy the summer breeze. We kindly ask you to have your pets on a leash, don’t let them on chairs, and clean up their poo. In order to have your room cleaned, we kindly ask you to talk to the staff to organize the daily cleaning when your pet is outside with you.
Last but not least, if your pets are not used to be alone, we recommend being with them most of the time and not leaving them alone in your room. In the surroundings of our hotel there is plenty of space for walking and having fun with your pets; for any information don’t hesitate to ask.
Other important recommendations
We recommend your veterinarian visits your pets before your departure to make sure they’re healthy and have all the vaccines. It’s important you bring your pets’ vaccination record book with you.
In case you are going to leave your pets alone in the room for a long time, we ask you to advise our staff and give us your mobile number in case of an emergency.
